Rate Override
Users with the required permission can adjust the base price of an experience during the manual-booking flow. Rate overrides support discounts, complimentary bookings, and other approved commercial adjustments.
Continue through the date and participant-selection step without editing the rate.
Move to the guest-details or final booking step, where the rate override control is available.
Enter the adjusted base price or zero value for a complimentary booking.
Review the recalculated taxes, fees, and final amount.
Confirm and create the booking.
Why is the rate control not available in an earlier step?
Dates, quantities, participants, and extras can change the calculated price. The rate override is therefore applied only after those selections are stable.
Pricing behavior
The original scheduled price is retained for audit and reporting as ORIGINAL PRICE.
The adjusted price becomes the booking value used for payment links, emails, and revenue calculations as BASE PRICE.
Taxes and fees are recalculated from the adjusted base price during the booking flow.
A zero-value override is supported for complimentary bookings.
The booking page and reports can show both the original rate and the actual rate paid.
