Creating a Product: Meeting Rooms
This guide will help you to set up meeting rooms as a product to start receiving bookings for your property and avoid any overlapping that can occur when these are taken manually.
To create your meeting rooms as a product, follow these steps:
- Login to https://activities.travelcurious.com
- Navigate to Product, and then Products
- Click on Create Product
- Select how you will manage the Availability of this product. In this case, Period limited (Availabilities are managed by date and periods, every product has availability on selected date and between selected hours.)
- Click continue, and Enter:
- Name of the room
- Short Description of the room. For example: how many people it can accommodate, dimensions, equipment already provided, etc.
- Long Description of the room. Get into details of what is this room usually used for, if different setups are available.
- Meeting Point: describe where the room is located
- What's Included
- What's not Included
- Choose the Product Category
- Choose the Navigation Item it will fall under
- Reservations email that will be notified of each booking
- Cancellation policy
- Stop Sale
- Minimum and Maximum number of participants if applicable
- Pricing Basics:
- This section will require for a unit price to be added. The unit price will be determined by you and it could be 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 60 minutes slots.
- The From field will show on your product card, and you can choose an average or the lowest price available.
- Add any % of tax and gratuity fee applicable
- Availability Management:
- Select the single renting unit: these are the duration slots a guest can choose
- Set a minimum renting period
- Add Cleaning Time which will act as a buffer between bookings (Leave empty if not applicable)
- Add the available hours with a from and to.
- Payment Settings:
- If you want to charge the guest upon booking, select Capture Card Details and Auto Process Payments.
- Click on Save Changes
- Once your product has been created, you can click on it to add Images, Files, Extras or Waivers. For image guidelines, click here.
- Take a final look at your product, and when you are ready, click on Published and Save Changes.
You have successfully created your meeting room as a product!
