Creating Experiences: Meeting Rooms

This guide will help you set up meeting rooms as a product to start receiving bookings for your property and avoid any overlapping that can occur when these are taken manually.

To create your meeting rooms as a product, follow these steps:
  1. Login to https://activate.travelcurious.com
  2. Navigate to Experiences, and then Catalogue 
  3. Click on Create Experience
  4. Enter:
    1. Name of the experience (Can be the name of the room you are renting)
    2. Select in Experience Type: Meeting Rooms & Spaces 
    3. Short Description of the room. This will be shown under the image in the experience thumbnail or card.
    4. Long Description of the room. Get into the details of what this room is usually used for, if different setups are available.
    5. Select or create an experience category.
    6. Add an Image for the Card and one or more for the experience image gallery.
    7. Meeting Point: describe where the room is located
    8. What's Included
    9. What's not Included
    10. Select if this product is only offered for Hotel Guests
    11. Select the Confirmation Method for this experience
    12. Select the reservations email that will be notified of each booking from the list of users or add new ones.
    13. Pricing Type: Select if you are renting per day or per time period
    14. Select the Payment Method applicable to your experience
    15. Add the applicable Taxes & Fees
    16. Add Blackout Dates applicable, if any
    17. Add a Stop Sale or a booking window if needed
    18. Cancellation policy
    19. Things to Know
    20. If needed, add Accessibility Information, Health & Dietary Restrictions, and any Health & Safety Protocols
    21. Create and/or add a Waiver
    22. Create and/or add custom checkout questions
    23.  Create and/or add extras
    24. Select the Check In Type
    25. Click Finish and select the status for your experience.
