The different payment methods available are:
- No payment required
- Manual Charge
- Travel Curious as merchant of record
No payment required
This feature will allow you to take reservations without capturing any credit card information from the guest at time of booking. Ideal for experiences that are complimentary when all you want is to track the number of guests or the quantity booked.
Please note that in this case, there won't be an available payment processing option for no-show situations.
Manual Charge
This feature allows us to capture credit card details and tokenise the card during the checkout process without triggering any charges. This empowers you to handle payment collection directly on site or by adding the booking to the guest folio and collecting payment during check-out or activity check-ins.
Important: whether it's in the case of a no-show or for any other necessary payments, you can trigger the payment directly from the booking by clicking on Process Payment Now.
Note: If the payment fails, a payment link will be emailed to the guest and a request for payment to be made.
Travel Curious as the merchant of record
With this setting, Travel Curious will handle and process the payment for the activity by charging the credit card on record once the reservation enters the non-refundable or partially refundable period.
Travel Curious will issue a payout for the collected funds minus transaction fees every month.
